Up, up and away..

For our “Birthday Bash”, Miss Vose had a great idea and brought  into school some chinese lanterns for the children.

Unfortunately due to the change in the weather this had to be postponed throughout the day on Thursday and eventually was moved to Friday.

We did manage to do test on one Thursday, before the weather changed.

On Friday we did get to light a few of the lanterns but due to the windy weather, we had a little difficulty in keeping them lit long enough for the hot air to fill the lanterns and for them to rise into the air.

It was a brilliant experience for the children and many of them had never seen these before.
