Year 5 – ‘Be Cr8ive’
Y5 are very cr8ive!!!
Â
Look at the pictures Y5 have created. We start off with fragments on a sheet then try to create a fantastic picture from them.
 We can score points for:Â
·      Using all the fragments;
·      Joining the fragments in to 1 theme;
·      Using perspective;
·      Giving our picture a title;
·      Putting our name on the work!!!
Â
We used Easter as our theme, for this week drawings.

Friends of Tithe Barn – Family Barn Dance
A big thank you to Rhodri and Carolyn Davies and their band for once again providing fantastic entertainment at the Barn Dance held on 9 February. Thanks also to Alison Lewis for her help during the evening and to Sam and Andy Savage for organising the bar. Needless to say they were kept busy all evening!!Â
Â
This year’s Barn Dance raised £247 for the school, so thanks once again to everyone who helped out and of course to all those who attended.Â

Wake up and Shake Up at Tithe Barn
2 March 2007
Dear Parent
Beginning Wednesday 7 March I am going to introduce a daily exercise routine for Key Stage 1 called ‘wake up and shake up’. It will take place in the Hall from 8.40am to 8.50am each day Tuesday to Friday. The children will wear their school uniform and shoes. This short regular exercise will raise the children’s heart rate and let them experience the feeling of well being as well as improving their sense of timing and rhythm and increase their stamina.
I hope it will be a time of fun and enjoyment for the children and they will start their school day alert and ready for work.Â
You are very welcome to join us!
Yours sincerely
M E Graham
