Tithe Barn School

Wednesday… more rain!

Posted in News by pjones on 15th August, 2007

A wet start to the morining again, not exactly perfect cricket weather! Once we all arrived, we started in the hall with some warm up games and then practiced our fielding and throwing skills.

Then to everyones favourite bit…. BATTING!

We looked at the straight drive, keeping the ball travelling staright and allong the floor so we couldn’t get out and developed this from a tee, a dropped ball and then finally a bowled ball. We all did really well!

We are now in the GCC putting the final touched to animations with movie maker, adding music etc and some of us are making some morphs to put on. They’ll be ready to put on soon we hope!

We managed to get outside for a while this afternoon, we played cricket and we all played skittles as well. In the GCC we went on the computers and made some animations and flash morphs, and now we are writing a blog! (Eloise)

Here is some more work that the children have done!
