Our favourite toys!

Posted in Year 1 by Y1Teacher on 21st February, 2008

We are starting to think about toys and comparing toys from the past to toys from present day. The children have used the 2simple programme to draw their favourite toy and write about them. Through thinking about their own toys the children will then be able to think about the similarities and differences between toys from the past and present. Here are a few examples of the children’s work.

Dance Fever

Posted in News by Y5Teacher on 21st February, 2008

Children of all ages get active with Pete Francis- the DisDance Man. After being given a short time to practise and refine their skills all the children showed off their dances.

There was an amazing assortment of sounds and movements that each group were able to bring to their dances. Their creativity was endless. Top stomping!!Â
