Easter Eggs

Posted in Languages@TitheBarn, Year 4 by MLagiewka on 19th March, 2008

Eggs are coloured and decorated in Poland and many Eastern and Central European countries before Easter with traditional symbols of Easter. On Easter Sunday, before breakfast, these eggs are exchanged and shared among the family at the table.

Year 4 made their own Easter eggs out of paper and card, and designed some astonishing patterns!

 Just have a look!

Colours in Polish

Posted in Languages@TitheBarn, News, Year 4 by MLagiewka on 14th March, 2008

Over the last 2 weeks we’ve been learning all the colours in Polish, as well as main sentences conected with colours, for instance: What is this coulor? What is the colour of the flower? Is it red? Is it green? It is not pink! etc.

Look at our fantastic work and challenge yourself, do you find it easy? Can you read some of it? If not then ask Year 4, they know all the answers!

Y4 have been learning about the Tudors over the last term. The class put on a fantastic assembly, telling the story of Henry VIII and his 6 wives and how his actions changed the course of history. Look at our photos to find out what the Tudors wore!Â
