I would like to say a huge thank you to every member of our school community, parents, staff, governors, volunteers and children. We have had a great term working together to ensure the best for all of our children. The opening of our new library recently was extremely exciting and I look forward to working together on other new projects including the development of our playground next term.
In the summer term, we will be having a Music Evening which will allow our children to celebrate their wide range of musical skills. Mrs Storey will be organising this event and we will send out further details after the holidays.
I hope you all have a lovely Easter break and look forward to seeing the children in school on Monday 16th April.
World Book Day
On Friday the 23rd March we celebrated World Book Day. The children came to school in a range of amazing costumes and helped us to solve the mystery of the disappearing key.
Local author Jo Welch also came in to school to share her passion for books and ran writing workshops with the children in KS2. The day ended with the official opening of our new school library which we are all eager to start using. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped to make it a successful day.

We have had an amazing day today celebrating Easter. There were a wide range of delightful entries to our decorated egg competition and the mystery judge had an extremely difficult decision.
The children all excelled themselves in the range of activities they had devised to raise money for our chosen charity and school fund. The sun shone and it was great to see all of our children and staff working together. I would like to thank everyone for their support today and particularly our parents for helping make today a very special day. I am looking forward to next year already!
For the safety of our children and parents/carers, the car park at school is for staff and authorised visitors only. We kindly ask that parents not to use the car park unless specifically authorised to do so.
We encourage parents to walk with their children to school wherever possible. When driving to school is unavoidable, please set a good example by driving and parking with consideration for others, and of course prevailing laws.
Mr Stamper and the Echo Warriors have been busy planting a new hedge at the bottom of the field alongside our new fence. This will provide a new habitat for our local wild life and allow the children to play in school with greater privacy from members of the public.
