Its the old Moor Top Pub Kid Joe here!
Just wanted to see how my old primary is and I hope that everyone is doing great.
It’s shocking to think that it was five school years ago i was watching Mr Ben in Mr Blackburns class (How are you by the way Mr Blackburn…. And Mr Buckley ect.)
:O I just had a flash back from those posters we did in year five and i came up with the phrase ‘Friend-Ships Never Sink!’
What I find even more scarier is i remember back to my very first day in reception when Miss Carter introduced me to the rest of the class and Mrs Holic was the teacher!
    Ahhh the good ol’ days!

I note that a couple of communications sent home on recent occasions have been printed in colour. When most commercial organisations forbid this, apart from final drafts sent to clients, I question the rational behind this practice. I feel this has particular relevance to Tithe Barn as an eco-school, which considerably overspent their budget last year. I would welcome your comments.

The tithe barn web is looking as good as ever but there is one thing that is puzzling me. On the Y5 web page it has stuff written about the year 4’s school trip and then about some self portraits what we did not do ether?

Great concert last night…I gope that you all enjoyed it as much as I did! I thought that you were all great EXPECIALLY the violins. Thats for obvious reasons though ♫. Chris is playing Guitar hero right now. And I’m fed up of hearing non-stop drumming. But he is absolutly wonderful at them! I am not sure who the leader of the school orchestra is at the moment but whoever you are you did a FAB job :D

I really enjoyed the Brazilian Carnival, the activities that we did were fun. The international conference was exciting and I loved speaking in it.( the sweets that we had were GREAT).I also enjoyed the football match that the year 5 boys played in – it was hard but really good fun. Unfortunately we lost 5 – 3 but we played against the whole of St Johns. Over all I had a great day. :)

I have just finished the parents maths workshop and wanted to say thank you to Mr Blackburn and Joy Hawksworth for organising the sessions. I never realised that math could be so much fun!!!
The course covered all aspects of numeracy and we all learnt how math is taught today. The Tithe Barn team are really creative and have some excellent ideas to encourage children to enjoy math. I would recommend this course to any parent. It really helped me to understand the new terminology and stratergies used to succeed in numeracy. Thank you.
